Your Money Makes a Difference

Can you imagine not being able to see?  Not just for 5 minutes by closing your eyes - but forever - black - it could be you!

Blindness is one of the biggest fears amongst the UK population.  Not being able to drive, or do your work, or see your family, read, socialise, travel, dress, cook - it can be a lonely and isolating existence.  We are here as a charity to help people through this, to giveadvice and support and regular contact.  Our service makes a difference.  Our service is valued.  Our service is needed.

Without your help we cannot provide this support to the 1300 people in Southampton who are blind or partially sighted.  We need your funding to help us.  We don't need thousands and thousands - £10 pays for someone to have a one-to-one session with us where we can help them with advice and emotional support.  £5 pays for transport to take them out for the day to meet other people.
